A Creative Curriculum with a Bilingual Approach
Happy Hands Learning Center offers a bilingual (English and Spanish) early childhood development program open to children and families from birth through five years of age. Our teachers, administration, and families combine to form a small but vibrant community dedicated to providing a consistent, nurturing, creative, and responsive environment. We aim to help each child develop bilingual skills, grow, and flourish using the arts as a learning tool.
As a testament to our excellence, we have been selected for the 2023 Best of Bethesda Award in the Kindergarten category by the Bethesda Award Program.

Our Story
Happy Hands Learning Center was founded by Lea and Ruth Zepeda. Their idea of a center that could use the arts as a learning tool was developed while both sisters were attending art school and working as teachers at a local learning center.
Our Mission
In the words of Frederick Douglass, "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." We are aware of our responsibility to society, communities, families, colleagues, and children.
